Business Manager – Avella Area School District
The Avella Area School District is seeking a Business Manager who will provide financial management of the District's $13 million dollar budget. The primary responsibilities of the Business Manager include but are not limited to: financial planning and budget management, cash management and investment, debt service and capital reserve fund, financial accounting and state reporting, and contracts. The Business Manager is also responsible for overseeing the food service operations, tax collections, transportation, payroll/benefits, accounts payable, and purchasing. The Business Manager will serve as a member of the administrative team. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related field, and 3 years of school finance experience is preferred. The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, decision making, and leadership skills with knowledge in budget development, accounting/financial procedures, and business administration technologies.
