Description
The Department of Elementary Education at Ball State University is seeking an elementary education part-time semester contract faculty member to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses, whose strength and experience is in the area of curriculum and instruction available August 2023.
Primary responsibilities for Master's degree candidates include teaching undergraduate courses in elementary and literacy education, with the expectation of teaching courses on-campus, partnering with school and community agencies, and performing other duties assigned by the department chairperson.
Primary responsibilities for Doctorate degree candidates include teaching online graduate courses in elementary and literacy education.
Applications will be held on file for one year from the posting date.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters or Doctorate in elementary education or related area from an accredited institution; at least three years elementary classroom teaching experience; knowledge of recent trends in elementary education.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
University teaching experience; knowledge of working with diverse learners; experience partnering with schools and community agencies; doctorate in elementary education or related area from an accredited institution.
