Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Charitable Giving Advisor to join our team. As a Charitable Giving Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and families achieve their philanthropic goals and maximize the impact of their charitable giving within the context of our Catholic community. You will work closely with donors to provide guidance, create personalized giving plans, and promote the values of stewardship and generosity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors.
  • Collaboration with donors to develop customized charitable giving plans.
  • Develop education and outreach and deliver educational materials and presentations on charitable giving topics for donors, Catholic organizations, and the community.
  • Stewardship and Recognition: Implement stewardship programs to recognize and celebrate donors' generosity.
  • Collaborate with professional advisors, such as attorneys and financial planners, to facilitate charitable giving solutions for donors.
  • Work with Catholic Parishes, Schools, Programs and Ministries to develop and manage planned giving and major gift programs.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in charitable giving, fundraising, or financial planning.
  • Understanding of tax laws related to charitable giving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Catholic faith and Catholic philanthropic principles.
  • Must pass Level II Background screening.
