GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting all technical, reporting, information, training, data entry, policy, and performance needs of the Operations Department.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to adhere to all GICW's policies and procedures, CARF standards, Kaizen guidelines, safety and security regulations.
- Foster and demonstrate a positive team environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Address Operations Help Desk submissions to ensure all technical issues, needs, and deficiencies are resolved in a timely manner.
- Manage GICW Cashier Training, ensuring up-to-date curriculum.
- Manage Operations inventory and supplies for accurate levels and stock.
- Analyze Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist with all reports, sales, and budget needs by Operations staff.
- Ensure Operations and POS policies and procedures are updated and relevant.
- Assist with remodels and new store setup, including: fixture pick up/delivery, register and cash wrap setup, signage, communication, and documentation.
- Conduct on-site and remote training for Retail staff.
- Provide support on other projects, as needed.
- Support opportunities for synergies across various business units to drive long-term business growth and sustainability.
Incidental Functions:
- Perform miscellaneous duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Minimum of one year retail management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- IT or computer technical training or work experience.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
- Must exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics.
- Must provide own transportation, as required.
General:
- Must maintain consistent, predictable, and satisfactory attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
- Must be able to demonstrate upon request functional literacy and numeric proficiency.
- Must have command of the English language sufficient to verbally communicate with the general public.
- Must not present a significant current risk of substantial harm to self or others in the performance of the essential duties of the job that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation.

WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS:
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with periodic work in either a warehouse or store setting.
- Environment is heated or may be air conditioned, and may include exposure to dust.
- Travel throughout the service area may be required.
- Moderate adaptability required: Work environment is occasionally hectic (fast paced) with irregular short deadlines and a limited number of critical or unusual situations.
