The Assistant Track and Field Coach is primarily responsible for assisting with program needs as assigned by the Head Coach including, but not limited to the following.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Practice planning, execution, and breakdown
  • Player development
  • Game Day strategies and execution
  • Scouting report development
  • Recruitment of potential student-athletes both on and off campus
  • Film Breakdown and Scouting
  • Supporting the academic progress of student-athletes
  • Develop fundraising strategies
  • Coordinate travel schedules
  • Support a philosophy of community service
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
Experience
  • Track & field experience is required
Working Conditions
  • Nights and weekends required
  • Overtime hours required in season
  • Travel for competitions and recruiting required
  • Must be able to execute basic fundamentals of the sport
  • Average 20 hours per week
