Duties and Responsibilities
This is a new 0.5 FTE position request to work on NIH-funded projects on viral hepatitis dynamics in vitro, in vivo and on the population level.
We are looking for an enthusiastic scientist with mathematical and computational skills and a strong interest in viral hepatitis dynamics. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in the core areas of the group's research. The candidate should have good programming skills in mathematical modeling good working knowledge of one or more mathematical, modeling or statistical packages (e.g., Anylogic, Python, Matlab, Monolix, and/or R) and excellent English (both written and oral).
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree
Specify Degree(s): Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry
Minimum Experience:
Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

A BS.c in applied mathematics, statistics, computer or computational science, or mathematical biology
