MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Marian Catholic High School is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join the Institutional Advancement Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in or a desire to learn all aspects of marketing and communications, including social media, email marketing, content creation, event promotion, public relations, and branding. They will work closely with the school's leadership team, faculty, staff, and students to promote Marian Catholic’'s mission, values, and achievements and report to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Oversee Marian Catholic’s social media accounts including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube; engage with followers and generate daily content to ensure consistent messaging that supports the school’s marketing and development plans and strategies.
- Maintain monthly reporting metrics to ensure communications effectiveness.
- Share Marian Catholic’s social media policies with authorized content managers (e.g. athletic team accounts).
- Serve as the point of contact for Marian Catholic’s website. Working with other departments, ensure the site reflects accurate, timely, and appropriate content. Create and manage a schedule of website content updates.
- In conjunction with the Director of Marketing and Communications, maintain Marian Catholic’s media contact lists and produce/distribute press alerts/releases as needed.
- Create and distribute compelling email and mail marketing campaigns to increase enrollment and engagement with current families and alumni.
- Write and edit content for marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, our biannual magazine Marian Matters, email campaigns, and advertising copy.
- Collaborate with the Director of Multimedia Production on the creation of digital content, including videos, graphics, and social media posts. Additionally, you will assist the Director of Multimedia Production in recording, streaming, and photographing events.
- Create and maintain messaging on internal video screens.
- Maintain messaging on the exterior marquee on Joe Orr Road and internally on televisions and other locations within the building.
- Assist with event execution supporting alumni and development efforts including reunions, the Endowment Golf Classic, and the Veritas Gala.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write compelling copy and create engaging content
- Proficiency in learning and managing social media platforms, email marketing software, and website content management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn digital marketing techniques and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva preferred
- Photography skills preferred
- A strong sense of creativity, initiative, and attention to detail
- Understanding of and commitment to Catholic education and the values and mission of Marian Catholic High School
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
