Job Description

This position will assist students in obtaining student support services. Serve as a primary point of contact for students, this position will provide information on services and processes. The candidate will use the department's data management system (Maxient) and the EdSights chatbox platform, prepare weekly, monthly, and annual data reports. Other duties include identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving day-to-day problems, assisting with website updates, and gathering results.

Job Functions:
  • Contribute to the overall strategic goals of the department
  • Provide office support to Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs staff
  • Serve as the main point of contact and liaison for internal and external constituents
  • Primary user of Maxient data management and Edsights chatbox platform systems and related procedures
  • Collect, analyze, and organize data to create reports, presentations, and summaries
  • Oversee and/or manage supplies and office equipment
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for staff and student employees
  • Share office coverage with Executive Assistant
  • Other responsibilities and job duties as designated by the department
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, PeopleSoft, or similar software
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service philosophy reflecting courtesy and a cooperative attitude
  • Strong team contributor who fosters a collaborative and results-oriented work environment
  • Strong attention to detail, coupled with effective multitasking abilities
  • Experience in data management systems
  • Proficiency with producing standard, ad-hoc, and analytic reports
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $16.82 to $17.63 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
