Job Purpose
Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program. Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, assisting with physical examinations, supervising graduate student athletic trainers, providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests, to include travel with assigned athletic teams, and assisting with administrative duties. Performs other duties as assigned.

Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program. Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, assisting with physical examinations, supervising graduate student athletic trainers, providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests, to include travel with assigned athletic teams, and assisting with administrative duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree. Minimum of one year of athletic training experience. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification “national” certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainers “state” license or eligibility for license. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program. Before Hours; After Hours; Weekend Work Required Physically Demanding; Some Lifting (tape injured players, etc.); Long Times on Feet
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Minimum of one year of athletic training experience. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification “national” certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainers “state” license or eligibility for license. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program.

Commensurate with education and experience. Administrative Pay Grade AD45.
