- Facilitate progress, supervise personnel, and manage reporting on all current grants
- Mentor TTUHSC School of Health Professions faculty in grantsmanship activities.
- Mentor TTUHSC School of Health Professions faculty in research methods, design, and statistical analysis.
- Develop and execute faculty development programs.
- Work with TTUHSC School of Health Professions faculty to identify and define a clear research agenda and goals.
- Collaborate with TTUHSC School of Health Professions to submit external grants.
- Identify collaborative funding opportunities for TTUHSC School of Health Professions faculty.
- Assist TTUHSC School of Health Professions Office of Research and Innovation plan the annual Endowed Lecture Series and other events.
