Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs.
Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hrs/wk); Hybrid schedule optional with 60% of time (3 days) onsite in the office and 40% (2 days) remote.
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to provide an executive level of support to the incoming Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. This will include a variety of administrative tasks that include but are not limited to, calendar management, completion of patient forms and documents, travel arrangement and reimbursement for the Chair, meeting coordination and facilitation, data management, program and event coordination, and recruitment support.
The Administrative Coordinator II must have strong, professional, interpersonal skills, time-management, and organizational skills, be a self-starter, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and the demands of the work day. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must as are paying attention to details, being able to follow instructions and policies, personal accountability and responsibility, and a sense of urgency when completing tasks.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.) required; Proficiency with Zoom and Virtual Teams Meetings required; experience working with UK systems such as Concur and SAP a plus

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred; one or more years of related experience in a medical and/or university administration environment preferred
