Job Summary

UK Healthcare is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support our Radiology Call Center.

This position will be responsible for assisting patients and clinics with coordinating, making, rescheduling and canceling Radiology imaging studies; providing accurate, detailed information regarding test preparation, arrival time and directions; confirming all necessary patient demographic and insurance information; and ensuring available scanner time maximized.

The selected candidate will provide excellent customer service by: providing helpful assistance to both patients and referring clinics; answering all calls in a pleasant and timely manner; calmly and effectively dealing with difficult people and situations; and cheerfully perform repetitive tasks. Qualified candidates will maintain departmental standards for quality and volume, as well as contributes new ideas to improve work practices.

This position will be primarily work remotely and will require a home office set-up. All necessary computer equipment is supplied. Candidate must independently maintain a high speed internet connection.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills, strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking and flexibility.
