Job Description

The University of Missouri is pleased to announce an opening for a Senior Program/Project Support Coordinator to support the Connector, Research Analytics, and the Strategic Proposal Development Service.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Support units in the Division of Research, Innovation and Impact (SPDS, Research Analytics, and the Connector) in event planning and coordination, communication of events to participants and presenters; For events - Position is responsible for reserving locations for meetings, seminars, trainings and conferences; Working with location to determine contract terms; Developing catering menu and contracting with catering vendors; Setting up shuttle services to and from events; Ensure all event participants receive per diem, expense reimbursements, etc.; Collaborate with marketing and communications to develop notifications and advertising materials; Post-event clerical duties - Determine any outstanding invoices that need to be paid and ensure that RII Fiscal pays these bills; Evaluate event and summarize major findings to improve future events;.

Meeting scheduling and calendar support; coordination of internal and external meetings for SPDS, Research Analytics, and the Connector; Schedule events in collaboration with academic units on campus to ensure faculty members are available to attend; Solicit agenda items for agenda creation from managers for upcoming meetings;

Data management and support; collecting event-related and logistical data; Enter data into AirTable to document conversations and action plans; Pull reports out of data management systems to support Research Analytics team;

Order supplies for 3 primary departments and conferences and symposiums; Support fiscal and procurement duties under supervision of RII staff.

This is a hybrid position with expected attendance at on-campus events. The anticipated amount of time expected to be on campus is 10-50% depending on event scheduling.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Must have experience in event planning and management; Must have experience in Excel

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $51,875.20 - $94,140.80 per year

Grade: GGS-010
