The Art Department at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is seeking part time faculty in the discipline of Art History. We seek individuals who will engage in art histories of the global majority; however, applicants from all specializations are invited to apply. The successful candidate(s) will teach 1-3 of the following courses. Please indicate which course(s) you are applying to teach. These classes include:

· A beginning level survey of Art from 1400CE to Present

· A junior level special topics course

· A senior level special topics course

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:
  • Preparing course plans and materials
  • Delivering courses
  • Monitoring progress/attendance
  • Advising students
  • Recording grades and submitting reports
Instructors with a Doctoral degree or ABD in discipline with at least two (2) years of teaching experience preferred. This is a part-time, temporary position that may require day, evening and/or weekend availability.
