The Mocs Card Specialist will perform the functions of the ID office related to card printing, customer service, and basic accounting; and manages two work study students.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operation of ID Office and Production of ID Cards
- Prints ID cards for faculty, staff, students, vendors, contractors, affiliates, and members
- Maintains adequate supply of inventory (cards, ribbon, and laminate)
- Performs daily reconciliation of meal plans and TMOC account activity
- Prepares transfer vouchers and invoices related to Mocs Card, food service, and bookstore accounts
- Performs IRIS time entry
- Performs daily online deposits in IRIS (GET and UGRYD)
- Assists with Summer Programs billing and management of the program
- Provides information to students and parents related to their meal plan choice, options for meal plan purchases, and assistance with meal plan changes
- Assists with food service vendor work order requests
- Manages 2 work study students by providing a learning environment that teaches accountability and responsibility, as well as the importance of customer service and collaboration across departmental units
- Monitors Mocs Card and Food Service website, and notifies Assistant Director of any updates and changes
- Assists with the monthly reboot of the ID card system server

Minimum Qualifications: Typically requires a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience in customer service, two years’ experience in Microsoft Office; one year of experience in basic accounting procedures; and one year of experience in a higher education environment are preferred.
